I graduated from school in August 2002. I work for a private alarm monitoring station in Syracuse NY as a programmer.
So far I like my job. It is challenging sometimes but I am proud that I have been able to do every project/assignement I was
given. I have learned that if you give your best in everything you do, doors just open for you, and you will succeed. And
if you respect people, they will respect you too.
I was born and brought up in a rural home in Western Kenya. That is where I had my primary (grade 1-8)education.
I went to Ortum High School in North Western Kenya for my high school studies. I thereafter joined Kenyatta University in
Kenya's capital, Nairobi. A very interesting place to be. That is where I had lots of fun. The riots and figthting the police
is just dangerously funny. I just completed my graduate studies at Syracuse University, in NY, USA where I joined in
August 1999. I hold an MS in Mathematics Education and an MS in Computer science. I graduated in August 2002. My
best sport is soccer. Maybe I like it because I am soccer player. I also like watching basketball. Basically, I like sports
allow players to display there talent and skills.

About my carreer:
I am computer programmer/analyst.
I basically build new software for my company as well as maintain their existing software.
I have had the opportunity to program in every programming language that I learned in school as well as learn new languages.
I build software that is used to monitor buglary, fire, medical and equipment alarms, just to name but a few. I
am basically motivated by the fact that I am involved in building software that helps prevent destruction of people's
property and also life.
I love my job because it has helped me grow as a person, a leader, and as a person that others can depend on. It has
given me an opportunity to grow my career beyond my expectations in a very short time.
